Luotai® Xuesaitong Soft Capsules
KPC’s continuous technical innovation has brought us the crystal-clear Xuesaitong soft capsules. The soft capsules overcome the problem of poor absorption previously found in oral preparations of panax notoginseng saponins (PNS). Since 1996, KPC has been developing the Xuesaitong soft capsule. It was awarded the patent in 2003 and formally launched onto the market in 2005. In 2013, it has been on the Protection List of Traditional Chinese Medicine. To ensure the high saponin content and high purity of Luotai® Xuesaitong soft capsules, KPC only uses ingredients from KPC GAP Planting Base in Wenshan, Yunnan and only extracts from the basal part of the stem, which contains the most saponins. The total saponin content of Luotai® Xuesaitong soft capsules is more than 85%, which is 10% higher than that defined in the national standard.

Luotai® Xuesaitong Freeze-dried Powder for Injection
KPC first separated the Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) intermediates in the 1970s. In 1983, it started the first clinical application and in 1985 it first applied for the name of “Xuesaitong”. In 1996, KPC first applied the advanced freeze-drying technology to production of the botanical medicinal injection and developed PNS freeze-dried powder – Luotai® (powder for injection), which filled the domestic gap for botanical medicinal freeze-dried powder. Luotai® (powder for injection) is a national healthcare medicine and national essential medicine and has six functions: anti-inflammatory, anti-thrombus, anti-platelet aggregation, improving hemorheology, scavenging oxygen free radicals and improving microcirculation. It is effective in treating cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
